After graduating high school in 1995 with a significant amount of embarrassingly cliched emotional baggage, Kevin "Subliminal White Trash" Pearce made his way to Toronto in a perfectly understandable attempt to outrun his past. After encountering many similarly desperate and stubbornly eccentric people, Kevin found his way into the acting and spoken word scenes. With an amazing and almost inhuman effort, Kevin somehow negotiated through his self destructive tendencies on his way to finding some kind of second rate enlightenment in his strange little world of reckless, impulsive creativity. After spending three years in Toronto, Kevin decided to return to the suburbs in order to preserve his diminishing supply of mental health. Sometimes he even thinks it was the right decision.

some new work...more coming soon

untitled

You’re dead looking
because you expect too much
help from above
Buying into lifestyles
you know nothing about
leaving you reflecting endlessly on yesterday
at the expense of today
making it easy to ignore the silent protest
written all over your face
It’s just too common these days
So I leave you with a simple message
Be gentle with the minds of others
Stay out of psychiatric wards
you will tip the balance

I had a dream that I was chewing gum. I never chew gum. It just doesn’t really interest me. Let me make it clear that I am not against chewing gum. I have no problem with people chewing gum. And I hope they have no problem with me. When I chew something I have the urge to swallow it. My mouth gets tired of chewing. Simple as that. So does that mean that those who chew gum are defying their instincts? I'm not trying to start an argument here. I'm just wondering. People who are trying to quit smoking chew gum. I am not trying to quit smoking. I have never tried to quit smoking. I have never wanted to try to quit smoking. Although I have cut down a lot. So chew your gum. Enjoy chewing your gum. But please leave me out of it. I am simply not interested. Thank-you for your time.
